"Traditional is the perfect adjective for this place. In the evening there were some local playing card. Staff is friendly and ask multiple time if everything was fine. Breakfast and dinner (foundue) wäre excellent. Room big and clean. I would say that for that price and region it is an excellent place to spend the night after a day in the mountains."

"Urchiges Restaurant, gutes Essen. Preise auf den ersten Blick sehr günstig, aber man muss für die Beilagen dazuzahlen (Cordon Bleu Fr. 25.- Pommes Fr. 7.- und Ketchup 1.50! Das ist ziemlich ungewöhnlich."

"Essen: 4/5 Das Essen war geniessbar. Es gab genügend Auswahl. Personal: 5/5 Personal war sehr nett und aufmerksam. Es waren jedoch auch sehr wenige Mitarbeiter. Toilette: 3/5 Toiletten waren sauber aber eher klein. Fazit: Das Restaurant ist sehr gemütlich und das Essen gut. Es war bei unserem Besuch sehr leer und daher angenehm ruhig."

"Waren hier nur zum Essen, zum Hotel kann ich nichts sagen. Das Essen war wirklich absolute Spitze!! Wir sind gefühlt raus gerollt, so voll gegessen waren wir. Die Preise sind Schweiz typisch, lediglich das Ketchup und Majo extra berechnet wird finde ich etwas speziell. Das ist aber auch das Einzige was ich irgendwie bemängeln könnte. Das Ambiente war wirklich warm und schön, die Aussicht draußen ist auch toll (obwohl wir wegen der abendlichen Temperatur drin gegessen haben). Die Bedienung und alle Menschen drum herum, sowie die anderen Gäste waren nicht nur freundlich, sondern absolut herzlich! Es war wirklich schön! Danke."

"Sehr freundliche und herzliche Mitarbeiter und Inhaber. Man fühlt sich willkommen. Mein Einzelzimmer ist sehr gemütlich und befindet sich im Haus gleich vis á vis vom Gasthaus. Auch das Essen schmeckt lecker. Besonders der Hausgemachte Streuselkuchen. Gerne empfehle ich das Gasthaus zum Schäfli weiter."

"Wie daheimFrisch, lecker und bodenständig.. Mit im Alt St Johann mit kleinem Bach, Aussicht auf Kurfirsten und sehr ruhig.. Familiär und topp Service.. Im Winter voll, besser reservieren, und unbedingt die Kasfondue mit Freunden essen.."
